What you see on a paper chart
Traditional maps are hard to interpret. Look at the CTR Schiphol in Amsterdam, one of Europe's biggest airports. Imagine you want to fly in its vicinity. It can be an intimidating thought.
You see the CTR has three parts, but without labels it is impossible to develop an intuition about its three dimensional structure.
The next dimension
Here is the CTR Schiphol as you would see it in CONFIDENT
The height was multiplied by 10 so that it is easier to get a vertical impression. The full version of CONFIDENT can be explored interactively by mouse or touch.
